As a Principal Investigator, his laboratory-based research has been funded through multi-million dollar grants (4.40 million dollars) by National Institutes of Health, National Cancer Institute, Private Foundations and Universities. He has been the Co-Principal Investigator of 0.5 million dollar research grants. He has also generated 1.87 million dollars in instrumentation grants. Several of his publications have become top cited, most cited and the most down loaded in their category.<p></p>
