Beschreibungen

This volume aims to review the fundamentals and technical aspects in synthesis, fabrication and processing of nanostructures and nano materials so as to present the readers an organized and rational portrait of the field. The volume is written with the intention to hand out as a general introduction to people who are naïve to this field and for experts hunting for information in other sub-fields. This volume gives an overview of the main concept of classification, preparation and relationship of structure to the application of polymer nano composites. Also the book discuses the mechanical analysis of Single Walled Carbon Nano tubes (SWCNT) and their applications. One of the chapter talks about novel approaches for the synthesis of core shell materials using different surface agents and copolymerization methods. A research overview of preparation, optical and physiochemical properties of metallic (gold, silver, platinum or combination of these metals) and its application in sensing, environmental and energy has been presented in this volume. Recent trends in template synthesis of porous organic polymers via direct or indirect method, physical characterization are also discussed with its application. This volume also presents a review on coating methods and characterization of nano structured ceramic coatings. A comprehensive outline of current research approaches for studying the properties and potential application of Zn O nanostructures. One of the chapter focuses on the study that investigates the stability and thermal properties of nano fluids suspensions in LEDs. A chapter on spark plasma sintering (SPS) is aimed at analyzing the factors that influence the microstructure development in the powder mixtures and promising method of fast and effective densification of metallic and ceramic materials. A chapter dedicated to the factors influencing the growth process of Si, Si Grand Sic nano wires, characterization and its related application in diverse fields. An iodization, mechanical characterization of nano porous alumina templates and its use as an ideal template for fabrication of various functional nanostructures have been discussed in details. This volume is written with an intention to bestow the readers with the fundamental information on fabrication, properties and application of nanostructures and nano materials in a lucid way. Through research articles and studies carried out by the authors of this volume it enlightens the students, researchers and scientist about the recent trend in the synthesis, characterization and, its vast applications.
