The Tiger and the Mouse

Once upon a time there was a spotted tiger.
This tiger, named Eliza, was very lonely. Eliza would spend her days roaming the plains and escaping the dreaded hunters that chased after her.
One hot day, Eliza went to the watering hole.
Other tigers had already gathered around the watering hole, though. They talked and drank, but when they saw Eliza, they started to mock her. “Look at her spots,” They would say. “Don’t you know tigers are supposed to have stripes!” said others.
So she ran off, and started to cry.
As she cried, she could hear the faint cry of a mouse and the deep laugh of a lion in the distance. Instantly, she ran towards the sounds.
